Sheila Cynkar, Director
Sheila became General Operations Director of Orthotic Prosthetic Solutions in 2001. Prior to this time she was involved in running Colorado Orthotic Prosthetic Center with her husband LeRoy Cynkar, C.O. LeRoy started his practice in 1992 when he moved to Fort Collins and Sheila was involved in the bookkeeping and management of the front office.
In 1996, they sold their practice to Rehab Designs and she worked in the front office while the practice belonged to them. In 2001, they left Rehab Designs, and subsequently bought LeRoy’s practice back from them. At that time, two other practitioners joined LeRoy and OPS was formed.
Sheila acquired many insurance contracts for OPS and when word spread of OPS’s success, other independent practitioners wanted to join them. Over the past 7 years OPS has grown considerably to what it is today with 10 ABC certified practitioners and 4 ABC credentialed office locations along the Front Range.
