Russ
Miller, Certified Prosthetist and Occupational Therapist
Russ
trained as an occupational therapist at the University of Puget Sound and
completed his post-graduate training in prosthetics at UCLA in 1986. He
holds certification from the American Board of Certification in Orthotics
and Prosthetics. Russ has worked in orthopedic rehabilitation since 1983, in
settings ranging from staff therapist within a hospital to a certified
prosthetist in private practice, and has served clients in all age groups
from pediatrics to geriatrics. He helped open the OPS Pueblo office in 2003.
As a
prosthetist, Russ works with all the latest materials and technologies,
including myoelectrics, as well as traditional materials such as wood and
leather. His goal is to provide the finest quality care and most appropriate
device to fit each client’s lifestyle needs. |
